Retirement is an exciting time in life. It's something that many people look forward to; awaiting the day they no longer have to work for years before it finally gets here. How can I deal with these thoughts before and after a concert?

I'm going to the Billy Joel concert in St. Paul Wednesday night. I've seen him three times and each time has been better than the last. I know this night will be one of the best nights of my life. However, after every show of his I've been to, even if it was a fantastic show, I've found myself feeling depressed as I'm walking out of the arena. I'm sad that the show is over, and I've always had to wonder if I'll ever get to see him again, as he keeps saying he's going to retire.
